Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' ID Buzz Cargo electric van line now includes a new entry-level variant.
The new model features a 59kWh battery and a 200-mile WLTP range; it is only available in the Commerce trim.
It can tow 1,000 kilogrammes and has the same overall cargo volume as previous models in the line, up to 3.9 cu m and 692 kg payload.
Delivery to customers is anticipated to begin in late spring, and the price will start at £35,960.
LED headlights, three front seats with heated driver's seats, front and rear parking sensors, a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system called Ready 2 Discover, wireless App-Connect for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and several USB-C ports are all standard features.
Additionally, it features a fixed bulkhead, sliding rear doors on the left and right sides, a cargo compartment floor covering made of wood, and LED lighting.
With the right DC rapid charger, it can charge at up to 165kW, which means it can go from 5% to 80% capacity in as little as 30 minutes.
It can be charged from zero to full in a little more than five hours thanks to its integrated 11kW AC charger.
